From Valentino Spring/Summer 2005 collection, a season built around the idea of a "well-travelled woman" as Vogue described it at the time. Drawing on a mix of bohemian, globe-trotting references and personal talismans, this top embodies that spirit of adventure. Horizontal bands of sequins and beading in a rich, sun-faded palette of terracotta, olive, plum, and cream, finished with a twisted cord trim at the neckline and hem. The dense, handworked embellishment has the texture of woven fabric rather than a printed pattern, all built up row by row.
