prémode was born in Melbourne, Australia with the desire to reimagine the second-hand clothing market. Our mission is to provide a luxury online retail experience in the pre-loved space. We believe that fashion in its essence transcends seasons and trends. We source not only archival vintage but upcoming independent designers and our most-loved luxury labels to give you the freedom to mix, play, and create looks that are truly one of a kind. All of our items are ethically sourced by our founder, Valeria Zlatnik, and shipped using recyclable and biodegradable materials.
Meet the founder
Valeria Zlatnik is the founder of prémode. Coming from a background in international marketing and business strategy, Valeria found her way into the world of sourcing almost incidentally, driven by a deep appreciation for vintage and secondhand fashion. What began in Valeria’s own wardrobe has evolved into a growing platform where curation remains deeply personal - each piece is still handpicked by her, one by one.
From selling a 1998 Gucci x Tom Ford runway suit to the Gucci Archive in Italy, to having pieces land in the wardrobes of cultural icons like Julia Fox,prémodehas quietly become a cult favourite. Valeria's vision forprémodeis to capture the feeling of stepping into Carrie Bradshaw’s closet - a space where an early-2000s Roberto Cavalli dress effortlessly pairs with new season Jimmy Choos.
