This piece is from Christian Dior's Autumn/Winter 2010 collection under John Galliano, a season steeped in windswept romance and layer upon layer of frothy chiffon ruffles. This one-shoulder dress is cut in deep navy crepe, with cascading tiers of black silk chiffon ruffles sweeping across the neckline and finished with a sculpted rosette at the shoulder. The asymmetric hem echoes the neckline with a flurry of layered chiffon ruffles, and the dress is fully lined in silk. A beautifully constructed Galliano era Dior piece.
