From Christian Dior Fall/Winter 1999 collection, this black midi dress is a beautiful example of John Galliano’s creative vision. Crafted in France from intricate openwork knit, the dress has a high neckline that fastens with delicate buttons that trail down the collar. Lace-inspired motifs and varying knit textures create a play of light and shadow throughout. Both sculptural and soft, this dress is a beautiful archival vintage piece.
Condition

Good vintage condition. The knit panels show overall signs of age and wear, the wool has a slightly washed, softened texture typical of vintage pieces.
